TAG! 200$ Budget Christmas List?

Hello lovelies!

So I saw a post that Sam Schuerman did a few days ago and it was a tag I think. She did not specifically tag me, but I am still going to do it! So basically this tag is you make a wish list for Santa but your budget is 200$! Sounds like a fun post to me! Plus it will help me get my Christmas list started because some people in my family are asking me for a list... I guess they are ready to shop! So, lets begin!

The first two items on my list are the LORAC 3D Liquid Lustre in
gold and silver. They aren't that expensive considering that they last forever,
at least that is what I have heard. I have had my eye on these for a while but just
never got around to purchasing them, now I can ask Santa! These run for $16
each. So the running total for both would be 32$

The next two items on my wish list is the Urban Decay Naked and Naked 2 palettes.
I have wanted these for a while but again, never got around to buying them. Maybe
Santa will get them for me?! Probably not. These go for 50$ each bringing our running
total to be 132$

Next item is the Sigma F80 Flat Top Kabuki Brush. I have wanted
this for so long it is not even funny. It is not that expensive so I am not sure
why I haven't bought it yet, but oh well. This runs for around 18$. Now our
running total is 150$

This next item is DKNY Red Delicious Perfume. I already have the green
delicious and I love it so I thought I would broaden my horizon, haha!
The price on this varies depending on what size you chose, so since we are
on a budget I am gonna go with the smaller one which sells for 45$.

The overall cost for Santa is...(drum roll please!)
195$

I am sure I could find something to fill the 5 dollar gap, but I will cut Santa a break;)
Leave below in the comments what you would want Santa to bring you on a 200$ budget! I hope you all enjoy your Thanksgiving this Thursday!
Have a wonderful holiday!

Bath And Body Works Haul!

Hello again!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I went shopping on Saturday and yesterday we put up the Christmas Tree! We have not decorated it yet, but it is up and it is so festive! I love the Christmas season, the decorations are beautiful, the songs are wonderful, and everyone is just so jolly...haha! I always feel the need to clean when it gets close to the holidays, I think it is because my mom always made me clean my room before Christmas so Santa could come. Although now that I think about it, I do not really see how it is related...oh well. At least now I have a good habit! Anyways, the reason I brought up the cleaning thing was because yesterday I also gave my room a good cleaning. It is totally clean and fresh now and I am racking my brain trying to figure out how to move around my furniture, I need a change! Okay, enough of my rambling! Onto the haul!

So like I said, I went shopping on Saturday and I picked up a few things from Bath and Body Works. I love shopping there because they always have such good sales and the scents are just luscious! I got a bunch of little goodies and only spent around 35 bucks, fine by me!

So here is just a picture of everything I bought, love it!

So the first thing that I got was a sale of 3 for 10$, like they always
have for the mini sizes of sprays, lotions, and body wash. So I got one of each: body spray,
body lotion, and body wash. The scent I picked out was Winter Candy
Apple. I must say, this scent is just absolutely heavenly! You can pick up
on the notes of apple, but it is not an overpowering apple scent, its got other
notes in it as well. It just smells wintery. According to bath and body works, Winter
Candy Apple is a "sweet blend of crisp apple, candied orange, and rich
cinnamon spice". I do not really pick up on the rich cinnamon spice, but I do
pick up slightly on the candied orange.

The next thing I picked up was on sale 2 for 5$. I picked up 2 mini candles.
I love these candles because even though are are quite tiny, they
burn for longer than you would think. So the first scent I picked up is Frosted
Gingerbread. This has a very warm feel to it when you smell it. It is kind
of hard for me to explain this one, but I do pick up on a gingery scent. When I
smell this I instantly think Christmas. According to BBW Frosted Gingerbread
is "a warm baked blend of spicy ginger, rich butter cream and brown sugar
topping with whipped vanilla frosting". I do pick up on the butter cream
notes now that I know it is in there, haha!
The other mini candle I picked up is Winter. Winter just smells like when
you go outside in the winter. I feel like I am at a Christmas Tree farm, it smells
just like a pine tree! I feel like I smell some kind of musk in it too,
but I am not sure. BBW describes Winter as "notes of pine needles, fir balsam,
and winter woods". Okay, no muskiness in there, but the pine was right!
Yay for me, haha!

So my fall wallflower bulb thing is almost out, like seriously I can
barely even see any of the juice left! So I picked up a wallflower refill.
The scent I picked up is my absolute favorite scent for the holidays,
Vanilla Bean Noel! I already have the spray and the lotion in this scent
and I am always spraying my room with my body spray, so I decided I
should go ahead and get the wallflower bulb! This scent smells very
vanilla-y and there is another scent under the vanilla that is maybe
caramel-y? I am not sure, so lets go to BBW to see what they say and
see if I am right! BBW says Vanilla Bean Noel is "A delicious medley
of fresh vanilla bean, warm caramel and rich, comforting cream". Yay
I was right about the caramel! Surprising because I am not actually
the best at describing scents...surprise surprise, right? Nah.

So I picked up my first scentportable. I have not put it in my car
yet, I am waiting until after Thanksgiving because the scent for it is a Christmas
scent and I have not started the Christmas scents yet, haha! So I just got
plain black so I could use it all year round. BBW was having a sale
on these also, buy 3 get one free. So I picked up a scentportable for my mom,
too.

Here is the scent I picked out for my scent portable. It is Twisted
Peppermint. It is not a warm smell at all, it is actually a cool smell. I do
not really remember how the candle smelled in the store because
you can not smell the scent through this refill thing. I do remember it
smelled just like peppermint and was a cool scent. I do not remember any
specifics though. BBW describes twisted peppermint as "a refreshing mix of
spearmint and mandarin, layered with iced peppermint, vanilla extract and
sugar musk".
My mom picked this one out for her, so cute! I don't have my
own picture of hers because she already has it in her car, so thanks BBW
for letting me use your photo!
This is the scent my mom picked out, it is called 'Tis The Season.
I did not get to smell it, so I cannot give you my own
opinion, but according to BBW, 'Tis The Season "blends deep green pine,
rich red apples and a touch of golden cider". I am sure she likes it!

Wow, that was a lot of stuff, and a lot of me rambling! I will try to keep this short, since I already talked to much! I hoped this haul/review helped you out if you are planning on buying any of these products. As always, leave any requests in the comments and I hope you have a great day!

Matrix Silk Wonder Smoothing Oil Review

Hi Everyone!

Thank goodness it is Friday! Sorry I did not post in the past two days, well I think it has been two days... haha! The first reason I did not have a post for you guys is because I just could not decide what I wanted to review. I did not want to do a makeup review again, and I had just done a post about nails, so I figured all that was left was hair products! Then after I decided I would review a hair product I had to figure out what to review. And my decision brings us to the post you are reading today!

Matrix Silk Wonder Smoothing Oil Review

So here is what the bottle looks like. It follows the orange label
Matrix uses for its smoothing line.

In order to get the oil out of the bottle you just twist the top
and pour out the oil. I wish it was a little bit easier to squeeze
the bottle but it is manageable.

According to Matrix, the oil "instantly restores shine and silkiness. Lightweight oil treatment quickly absorbs into hair to smooth and control frizz all day." I would not say this is a miracle product- at least no miracle for me. It does help though, I can definitely notice when I do not use this product. This product does make my hair softer and silkier, but it only slightly eliminates frizz. This is a product that I use everyday, but I will search for something better when I use this up. I am always on the lookout for that miracle product!

I find that this product works best when paired with other products, and will tell you what those are when I do a "hair product routine" post or something like that in the future, so lookout for that! I hoped that this review helps you if you are looking for a new smoothing oil or if you are trying to decided to buy this or not! I know that my review was pretty brief and not very detailed but I am sure that as I do these reviews more often I will get better at giving you information!

I hope you all are having a good Friday and I hope you enjoy your weekend! They started playing Christmas music on the radio today and I was so happy listening to that in the car on my way to class. I will definitely have Christmas Nail Tutorials coming up soon, yay!

See you guys soon!

NYX Eye Shadow Trio Review

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

I hope you all are having a nice day! I am really looking forward to getting into a routine of posting on my blog. It's super exciting for a newbie like me! So for my blog post today I have a makeup review, yay! Today I will be reviewing the NYX Eye Shadow Trio. The color I have is Aloha/Mink Brown/Deep Bronze. Now, lets get into the review!

So let talk about packaging. I love the packaging of this
trio. I think the packaging looks super sleek! In these pictures
the packaging looks super dirty, but trust me, in person
it is not that bad! I think that flash from my camera is what
is picking up all that messiness. Now, I am not gonna lie,
fingerprints show up on this packaging in person, but I do not
really mind that, so it is fine to me.

So, here is what you see when you open it up. Talk about pretty! Again,
I think it is the flash picking up the messiness. On the left you have Aloha,
middle is Mink Brown, and the right is Deep Bronze. On the eye lid
Aloha and Mink Brown look exactly the same. At least I can't tell the
difference, maybe someone else can. These shadows are really
soft and do not come off chalky at all. They are pretty
pigmented but I do wish they were slightly more pigmented so
that you could tell the difference between Aloha and Mink Brown.

Here is just a closer look at the shadows. Top is Aloha, middle
is Mink Brown, and bottom is Deep Bronze.

And here are the swatches! The top is no base, and the bottom
has a base. You can't really tell the difference between the
base and no base swatches, but you can kind of see it
with Mink Brown, which is the middle swatch. As you can see,
Aloha does not swatch very well, poo. But it does apply quite
nicely on the lid.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this trio to everyone! I only own one of the trios, but there are tons of them out there! There are trios for everyone-brights, nudes, neutrals, all kinds! I am looking forward to getting my hands on some more of these trios so that I can review them for you guys! If you have any requests just let me know! I will hopefully be back again tomorrow with another review!
Have a super wonderful rest of your day!

Super Basic Nail Tutorial!

Hello again!

For my first beauty related post I decided to do a nail tutorial! This nail tutorial is super basic, I am sure everyone knows how to paint their nails! The reason I decided to start off with such a boring and basic tutorial is so that I can get used to the formatting and get the hang of this whole blogging thing. So just please, stick with me as I get used to everything. I promise much more interesting posts in the future! So, lets get started!

You are going to want to start off with clean nails and file
them to the length & shape you like. My nails are looking really
yellow in this picture- probably because I left the same polish
on them for 2 weeks! Whoops... haha!

Next, you should add a base coat. Adding a base coat will
prevent staining and will also help your polish apply
more smoothly and prevent chipping. The base coat
that I used is OPI Natural Nail Base Coat. I really like
this base coat because it dries quickly and helps with chipping.

Next apply your polish. The polish I am using is China Glaze Velvet Bow.
I really like this color because it is a dark color but you can
obviously tell it is not black and that it is a deep red. In real life
this color is much darker than it appears in the pictures. The pictures show
the first, second, and third coats. The third picture still looks a bit
streaky but in person it does not appear that way. Make sure when you are
painting your nails that you always wrap the tips- paint polish on the edge of your
nails! This will make your manicure last much longer by preventing chipping.

Lastly, apply your top coat! The top coat I used is OPI Top Coat.
I love this top coat because it adds a really pretty shine that looks
like you just walked out of the salon! I personally like to add a thick layer
of top coat, but you can do whatever you prefer! Top coat helps to add shine
and prevent chipping for a longer lasting manicure!

And here is the final product! A very beautiful, long lasting manicure!

I cant wait to get into the swing of things and be a regular blogger! I know this was really basic and boring, but I promise to come out with more exciting blog posts very soon! I think my next blog will be a review of some sort of beauty item. Please leave any requests below! Thank you for visiting the blog and hope to see you soon! Watch out for the next post!
I hope you all have a very wonderful day!

Hi!

Hello!

This is my first post on my first blog, yay! I will be posting about many different things- all mostly beauty related! I plan to be doing products reviews, nail tutorials, hauls, and maybe sometimes just a random blog! I am super excited to be doing this and hope that I can build up a community of people who enjoy reading my blog. I already have some plans for nail tutorials, so look out for those coming soon! I am looking forward to getting to know other people who are addicted to all things beauty as well!

One reason I decided to do a blog was because I am totally addicted to beauty products! I have so much stuff that I hardly use, and I figured I might as well let others know why I hardly use certain products, or why I use certain products daily. Also, I feel like I will have a chance to rediscover some products that I already have but that have been put to the back of the shelf. I also want to let you guys know if a product really does what it says it will do or if it is something to maybe pass on.

I am looking forward to getting to know all of you and if you have any requests for reviews or nail tutorials, please let me know!

   Have a wonderful day!
