Ulta Automatic Eyeliner Review!

Hello!

Today I have a review on Ulta's Automatic Eyeliner. I have three of them and they are a black (Black), a silver (Starlet), and a gold (Golden Eyes). I got these when Ulta was having a sale where all Ulta brand cosmetics were under 6$ and these were I think 1$ each.

So here is what the packaging looks like, standard eyeliner packaging.
The color on the outside represents the color of the actual liner.

Here is the actual product. Black.

And here is the actual swatch! Sorry this picture is not super clear
my camera was acting silly. Anyway, the top swatch is
many strokes and the bottom is just one stroke. So you can
see that this eyeliner is very pigmented and has great color
payoff. This liner is very soft and creamy. I use it on my tight
line before I apply mascara and it is very black. Love!
Starlet.

Here's the swatch of Starlet. The left swatch is one stroke,
the right swatch is multiple strokes. This liner does not have
the same color pay off as the black one, but it is definitely
build able. I found that this liner is dry compared to other liners
I have, which makes it difficult to use as a liner or a base
for eye shadow.

Golden Eyes

Golden eyes has much better pigmentation than Starlet, as
you can see from the swatch. Left swatch is one stroke, right is many.
This liner is much softer and creamier than Starlet. It is very
much similar to Black, but I think black is a bit smoother. This
one would work well as a base, I think.

Here are all the swatches side by side.

I would say the black and gold are for sure worth trying, the silver not so much. Maybe I just got a bad one but maybe not. The black works really great on the tight line of the eye, I do not wear liner anywhere else so I couldn't say how well it works for that. The gold would work nicely as a base but I haven't tried it so I am not sure.

Please let me know if you have any requests or questions in the comments and have a wonderful day!

L.A. Colors Eye Shadow Brushes Review!

Hello!

Today I have another brush review for you, it's the L.A. Colors Eye Shadow Brush Duo! I got these from my local dollar store and I must say, they are absolutely the BEST eye brushes I have ever tried! The duo comes with a lid brush and a crease/blending brush.

So here are the brushes, the handles are not very long. But
they do not change the quality of application at all. These
brushes do not feel flimsy at all but they also do not feel
especially sturdy either, they are pretty much your average
brush as far as handling goes.

Here is a better look at the shape of the brushes. The
bristles on this brush are very soft and they pick up a
good amount of product, not too much or too little.

Now here is the crease/blending brush. This brush is fluffy
enough to still blend crease shadow flawlessly while still
being small enough to get precise application.

This is the shading brush. This is a big brush, maybe a little
bit smaller than the size of my lids. I love the big shading brushes,
though. This picks up enough shadow to make it possible to cover
the entire lid from one dip into the shadow. This also makes it really
easy to blend lid color into crease color. The bristles on this brush
are dense but still soft and a little bit fluffy on the ends. This makes
it a great brush because there are no harsh lines.

Overall, I definitely say everybody should check these out. They are great quality for the price. I would probably be willing to pay more for these brushes! Now, if you do not like the large shadow brushes for the lids maybe that brush may not work for you, but even still it is worth it for just one of the brushes! If these ever need replaced I will definitely repurchase them!

If you have any requests or questions please let me know in the comments!

Have a wonderful day!

Revlon Lip Butter Review!

Hi Everyone!
Today I will be reviewing a Revlon Lip Butter. The one that I have is in the color creme' brulee. I have been dying to try the lip butters and I must say, at least the one that I have, they ARE worth the hype!

So here is the packaging, it is really a cute quilted/foggy looking
package. Very girly. The color of the packaging depends on
the color of the product inside.
So when you take the top off, you get the product. I must say
I really do like the shape of the actual product. I think this shape
applies product better than the tapered/triangle shape of other lip
products.

And here is the color. The color is a tan/nude color. When applied it
does not give the nude effect alone, I could see this being really pretty
if you had "erased" your lips with foundation prior to application.
So, you can see there are some little glittery pieces in the product.
Those do not show up on the lips, maybe if you were in direct light,
kind of similar to the flash of a camera, but i doubt you'd see it. This
gives a kind of frost/champagney color to the lips. It sounds kind of
strange, but it is really a beautiful color.

So here are two swatches of the lip butter. The top swatch is
where I tried to build the product up to get a more opaque color,
and the bottom is one swipe swatch. As you can see it *kind of* can
build up, but I do not think it really changes the color so much as the
shimmery/reflective quality it has.

My overall opinion? I would say try it. Revlon sells this product in many different colors. If this type of color doesn't work for you, try one of the other ones! This product glides on the lips like butter (haha) and does not feel drying. I love mine and when I run out it is a definite repurchase!

Have a great day!

Sigma F88 & P88 Review!

Hello!
Today I am going to be reviewing for you my two sigma brushes. I used the money that I earned from ebates (check out my post on that here) to treat myself to something a little bit more expensive!

The two brushes I decided to get were the P88 and the F88. They are very similar brushes- same shape, different size. So lets take a look at both brushes.
Sigma P88
Sigma F88

So here is the Sigma P88 Precision Flat Angled brush. Sigma says
the best use for this brush is to apply concealer anywhere on the
face and provides precise contouring. Sigma also says that this brush
works best around the eyes and nose. So here is my opinion: LOVE.
This brush was love at first use (please excuse the dirty brush). This
brush works wonders in applying concealer. It is super soft and
blends out the concealer quite nicely. I definitely prefer this brush
over the typical small paddle looking brush. This is definitely
something I would recommend for anyone to try out.

And this is the Sigma F88 Flat Angled Kabuki. According to
Sigma this brush is best used for blending in cream product to hard
to reach places on the face. I was super excited to try this brush out.
At the beginning when I first used this brush I have to admit I was a bit
disappointed. I thought that the brush was too stiff and left brush marks,
I did not think that it blended well at all, and I thought that when I tried
blend my foundation out that the bristles would get all twisted and messed up.
But eventually I kind of learned how the brush naturally fits to my
face and what techniques of blending work best to reduce brush marks and
I have to say this is now my favorite face brush (other than the P88, of course).

One thing to keep in mind if you are torn between the F80 and the F88:
If you buff out your foundation in a circular motion, go with the F80, the F88
tends to twist when used in circular motions. If you buff out your foundation
in sections and you go in horizontal/vertical/stippling motions, i would
 recommend the F88.

I would say these brushes would work well with everybody. I do not think
a particular skin type (dry, oily, combo) would have any affect on whether
or not to use these brushes. I have used the P88 to also set my concealer for
added coverage and it works great. I think anyone who try's one of these
will be happy with the outcome.

If you have tried these brushes please let me know in the comments how
you like it! Also, if you have any questions or requests please leave it as a comment!

Have a wonderful Wednesday :)
